Version 3.4 of Spectra for Windows released
Jan 5, 2002
Spectra’s latest major upgrade, Version 3.4 has recently been released.
All Spectra clients who subscribe to Medallion Service will receive this
upgrade as part of the Medallion Service program.
Release 3.4 has hundreds of enhancements and additional programs added
to SPECTRA for Windows®. Most of the modifications are the result of
RFSS’s (Request for Software Services) from our customers.
Following are some Highlights of Release 3.4
New Financial Statement — with 12-month spread, including Budget, Actual
and Variance
New Financial Statement with Account Analysis — allows for analysis of
specific G/L accounts for several buildings. Prints the Building Name,
Number of Units, YTD Actual, Budget, Variance, Total Budget, Remaining
Budget and Avg. Cost Per Unit
New Rent Roll (Increase/Decrease) — report listing all changes to tenant
charges (either rent increase/decreases or charges that end) for the
next month
New Trust Account Detail Report — provides the details of any G/L
account for a selected month, with a running balance by date. This
report gives you the option of summarizing deposits and disbursements so
that these will be consolidated to print the total amount of the check
or deposit, not all detail lines, something many clients have requested.
New "Balance Forward" Tenant Statements — very similar to most credit
card statements, displaying the balance forward since the last
statement, with all charges and payment activity since.
CPI Escalations incorporated into the Commercial Recoveries Module — not
only will this new feature handle CPI increases, it also back-bills any
retroactive amounts automatically!
Pre-Authorized Payments, Collection of Rent — now Spectra clients of all
major Canadian banks and a BC Credit Union can use this module.
Lockbox Module — available for our US Clients, for collection of rent.
Statement and Coupon Book Interface — creates an export file with
tenant’s billing information for use by a third party printer to create
professional looking tenant statements or coupon books.
