SPECTRA Property Management Software version 6.1 by Spectra Computer Services Ltd. has recently earned the Certified for Microsoft® Windows 2003 Server Logo.

As of the publication date of this announcement SPECTRA is the only property management software application to have earned this logo and be listed on Microsoft's Windows Server Catalog Web site.

According to Microsoft, the Windows Server Certified for Software Logo Program is designed to improve customers' application experience on Windows Server 2003. The program addresses the customer need for manageability, reliability and security. To identify that an application is Certified for Windows Server 2003 it should have these logos associated on their web site or packaging.

The goal of the Microsoft Certified for Windows Logo program is to provide customers with the best possible application experience on Windows Server 2003. Applications can be a leading cause for system failure, and Microsoft works closely with independent software vendors (ISVs) to ensure that their applications can meet the highest standards of availability, reliability, security and supportability. Customers also avoid nonessential system restarts and unplanned downtime with applications Certified for Windows Server 2003.

To qualify for the Certified for Windows Server logo, SPECTRA Property Management Software was tested by VeriTest, an independent company, for compliance with logo certification specifications. These specifications provide concise guidelines for developers to use in optimizing applications that run on the Windows Server 2003 platform. These certification standards apply to both Microsoft and third-party server applications.
